Mama Mia
5/28/2021
I am a disabled veteran and grow for pain, insomnia, ptsd/anxiety and many other disabled vet issues.
1st grew Mama Mia in 2018. She is a good one for rookie growers but watch for girdling when young. Grows short and stout and packs on the flowers. Large dense cola's were the norm for me. Grew in 25gallon grow bags with constant gardeners #4 blend of organic soil with 5lbs of living soil blended in to the bottom third of soil. Only watering required till harvest with this and flushing not required. They seem to average about 3lbs of harvested flower (dried weight) per shrub.
Taste is spicy but luxuriously sweet piney bliss. Coach lock is likely with rookies. But is an excellent pain controller, very helpful with insomnia, anxiety and attitude adjustments...prompts relaxation quickly. This is now a good choice for blending into my organic, kosher Medicinal Cannabis Oils. Right up there with my Kushes, my White Widow and Northern Lights and others.
Growing 2 for my 2021 outdoor Alpine grow at almost 5000 ft. elevation. Started them indoors mid-March and moved to grow bags outside today (5-28-21) at about 20 inches in height. That's after pruning them just above the 5th node level (my halfcut technique). They will be around 5 to 7 ft tall at harvest late September to 2nd week of October. And that cuts it close for snow country around here but very doable for experienced growers.
