I think I've found a new favorite dispensary. It's nice they have some budget strains, even nicer one of them is my favorite sativa, Jack Herer. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

It's a nice little shop, and no waiting is cool. I was there early-ish so there weren't any other customers at the time, so it was super quick. Very friendly staff, well laid out interior. For me, the location is great - about a five-minute walk from the MAX, plus it's right next to Winco, the place I do most of my grocery shopping. Hard to beat that!

I had some questions about the new higher purchase limits and the lower tax, which the woman at the front desk gladly answered. While I usually go into a shop knowing exactly what I want, this time I asked about syrups, although I didn't get any this time. I did get some Agent Orange kief, plus a bit more than the 1/8 oz. of Northern Berry. What they had of that was in iindividual gram containers, so I was able to get four grams for the price of 3.5g. Plus it was pre-roll Friday, so I ended up with one of Cinex and one of Jack the Ripper, both new strains to me. I usually smoke with a bong, so I opened up the Jack and found it weighed 1.25 grams. Not bad for a pre-roll. It's finely ground, so I could also use it in my vaporizer. I'll be returning to Nectar in Gresham. It's a nice shop with friendly people, plus it's pretty close to my credit union, which is important in dealing with cash only.

Sweet Leaf is becoming my favorite shop, and I've been to many on Portland's east side. The pricing structure makes things simple - usually $50 for a quarter, $25 for an eighth with occasional specials. They have 10 % discounts for seniors and veterans, plus a 2-hour "happy hour" Wednesday mornings which knocks $5 off the total purchase price. That's on top of having some of the best prices in Portland. The prices are low, but the quality is high and they carry a pretty good selection. They've got free parking, and it's also near the #4 and #73 bus lines.
