MILDEWED JARS AND WET MOLDY BUD WATCH OUT!! When you smell weed, you should approach it like smelling wine. Completely exhale and take a long deep inhalation through the nose. You should be able to smell the complex terpene profile of either a glass of wine, or a well grown / cured bud. Medical patient shopped on the recreational side on 6/27 around 20:00. There were 4 strains to choose from, compared to the recreational side that had almost 12-18 strains. Staff was chill and kindly offered a 20% discount which took care of the recreational tax. • Each medical jar smelled like an old damp towel. Couldn't tell if it was just the jar (because they may have not been washed properly) or if it was the bud. • The medical strains were all super shaky and a much lower quality than the recreational side. • I was shown 4 recreational strains from the their Elite Tier. Each strain had the same problem - either the jars smelled like mildew / mold or the buds did. • I didn't want to walk away empty handed, so I went with what smelled the best and bought an 1/8th of the Alien Rock Candy at the Elite Tier. Got home and realized the bud was literally still wet. It wasn't cured right and is probably the reason why the other jars smelled so bad. I've been in the industry for the past 10 years and recently left because of this trash. Tread carefully. They're choosing to cut corners and it's putting not only patients, but also the public's health at risk.
