if you’re looking to give your money to people who do not value their employees or the cannabis industry, look no further. i was employed here for 2 months and wow what a complete disaster of a company & joke of management. the general manager has no idea how to run a store. within two weeks of working there, there were already rumors going around (started by the assistant manager) about my work ethic, because nobody properly trained me so there were things that i was doing wrong. i immediately brought it to the general manager and was told to stay away from certain employees because they’re “all drama.” the other budtender who also went to the manager about this issue was told we “didn’t need her” after she put in her two weeks notice. and then we were short staffed for the rest of the week. over the next couple of weeks i saw that most of the people who work at this store are shady, condescending, and toxic people who push out anyone who disagrees with the “company culture.” (a culture that includes working during a blackout, working while hot tar is dripping into the building during a roof remodel, and working on all holidays without any overtime or holiday pay - just store credit) there were multiple instances where a customer wanted to buy something that was on the sales floor, just to be told that it’s “not in the system” so we couldn’t sell it to them. so instead of taking a few minutes to add it to the system, the manager would just tell the budtenders to suggest something else for the customer instead. when i was hired, i was told that the schedule is always posted 2 weeks in advance, and that was not the case for most of the schedules while i was employed here. i also would request a day off, only to be scheduled for that day & then need to remind the manager 3-4 times before it was fixed. there are lead budtenders here have no business being in a management position at all. my first week closing, the budtender on shift had to do basically every closing procedure because both lead budtenders (Lilie and Juston, hey guys 😘) just sat on their phones for the whole shift, which they continued to do for the entire time i was employed here & im sure continue to do long after i’ve left. (these are the same lead budtenders that spread rumors about the people they didn’t like, and talked shit to every single person who would listen) the general manager’s responsibility is to cover shifts when people call in, but that only happened a few times while i was employed here. if someone called in, he either guilted someone else into coming in, or the shift was short staffed because he did not come in. the general manager also collects tips from the budtender pool, despite only budtending for a handful of customers throughout the day. the company will tell you that you receive a 30% employee discount that you will get to keep after you leave, as long as you don’t have any issues within your last 30 days, but they of course do not honor that. overall, if you’re looking for a good dispensary, look elsewhere.
