Just got my card and remembered a friend of mine mentioned there's a dispensary in my hometown of Boring. Leafly took me on a convoluted route to get there, but I finally found it. It's in Ashley's next to Nuts On Sports Pizza and A&W where the reptile museum used to be. I'd never been to a dispensary before and was very pleased with my first experience. The guy at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. He handled my unfamiliarity very well, walking me through the process for first-time visitors very professionally and making me feel very welcome. He got out all of the jars so I could smell and look at each one up close. They ask that you put on gloves if you want to touch any of the meds for closer inspection, a gesture of hygiene I greatly appreciated. The only think I could say negatively about the place was that they didn't have any specials in stock and their medibles selection was quite lacking, though he forewarned me that it was due to the recent changes in packaging rules. Overall, my visit was fantastic and they've definitely earned a new regular.
