Curaleaf This is a review of their customer service. I have been going here since the place was called “Swell” and have always been happy with their products, pricing and service. However, being that this is a controlled industry, if a patient has an issue with the product, my experience is that you’re on your own. I enjoy cartridges and have been using them for years. My problem is with “Select” cartridges specifically because they always are low. Meaning, you pay for .5g and the cartridge is not full. I have written to Select but they don’t respond so this time I contacted Curaleaf. Their first response was quick but it was saying that it’s nearly impossible for what I say to happen, but that it was a possibility. Then they said they couldn’t do anything if I had taken a draw from the cartridge, but I hadn’t. I took pictures of the shortage and waited for a response. When I responded to them that I had not taken a draw and I sent them images of the cartridges. Then I never heard from them again. Paying full price for something and then not receiving the product as paid for is upsetting enough. A business that ignores customers after initial contact is not my type of business. If I pay for something and it’s not what I paid for, the least you can do is make it right but instead you respond asking for a reply, I reply and then you ignore me. This dispensary will give you a pre-roll every month for reviews left on google, leafly, weedmaps etc...that is why there are all positive reviews because they offer payment for the reviews. Well, here’s my review. You have good vet discounts but this vet won’t be going there anymore. I can find other dispensaries that will ensure they aren’t selling cartridges that are short product and that return correspondence. My original letter: I'm curious as to how to deal with a return. I'm really getting tired of buying "select" cartridges that are not nearly full. I just bought two more yesterday. One is just a little more than half and the other ones not full either and I'm really getting tired of this. I've been getting the runaround. I was going to buy timeless but your bartender assured me that these would be good and that there was a good deal so I tried again and it's not that I don't like to select product but they consistently do not put the full amount into the cartridges. I want to return these I'm never buying select again how do I do this? I don't want to come down and wait another hour like yesterday. First and only reply June 3: Hi Jim Thanks for reaching out. I believe all cartridges are filled based on weight (500mg or 1000mg) – the same weight it is reported against your allotment. We spot-check products’ weight to make sure products are what they say they are… and haven’t seen any that are short on product. But it is possible that an error has occurred. Sometimes, if the oil is hot or warm during the filling process, it will flow into the lower chamber and thus could appear to be “partially” filled. But it does have the correct amount of medicine by weight. Especially now that it is summertime, the oil is definitely warmer than usual, so it is more common to see that – in al brands, not just Select. That said, if there is an issue outside of that, we would definitely want to make it right for you. But we can only do that if you have not taken a draw from it yet. Any chance you haven’t taken a hit of the cartridge yet? My first reply to them June 4th: Hi there, I really appreciated your reply. I haven't touched either of them aside from opening from the box. I have the boxes as well. I took a picture before I wrote to you just in case. (I didn't expect a response). How do we proceed from here? Regards Then on June 9th, I followed up because I hadn’t heard anything: Hi there, I really appreciated the quick response but am still sitting here with two cartridges that are light in weight. I responded five days ago and now nothing? Please advise. Regards And here we are two weeks later. I am certain they have decided to ignore my emails so I will post this review to all of the sites and go in to get my free pre-roll(s).

This is a great dispensary that has plenty of parking, a lot of variety and a 20% veterans discount. They have a great loyalty program and daily/weekly specials. Everyone's really nice here and the system is smooth. I recommend using leafly for a quick pick up.

I came in here last week as I had never been here before and it is not too far from home. My buttender was nice, the flower was cheap (but not much selection on flower), the place was also nice. I have 1 complaint though. I came in as a FTP and their promo is BOGO either 1/8ths or grams. So, I buy 2 timeless cartridges and was going for BOGO on an 1/8th of flower. She showed me the pouches, and the flower looked fine, but I couldn't tell the weight by just looking at them as I trusted I would be given the amount I paid for. When I got home, I noticed that I had 4 single gram pouches which is over 3 grams shy of what I asked for which was a BOGO 1/8th, so I bought an 1/8th and got a half gram free instead of the 1/8th. Not happy with that.

Since receiving my card I have been to 7 different places. Some of them were nicer and some had better prices, but overall, this was my favorite place. I can't remember the name of the girl who helped me (lots of tatts, nice smile) but she was really laid back and not rushing me. I like to look at the strains and evaluate what I want...I like to try new stuff and don't need education just suggestions. She was very helpful and informed me of the rewards program and other specials and deals that are going on. I just happened to be in the far West Valley and it was right across the street from where I was so I thought I would drop in. Although it is very far from my home, when I am in the area I will definitely drop in and check it out again.

tru|med Dispensary (Med & Rec)

The location itself is very convenient as it's not too far from the freeway but I brought my helicopter and just parked on the roof. This was my first time there but definitely not my last. As I am going around the valley, checking out FTP offers, I am also looking for my go to place once I have depleted the FTP programs and Tru Med is a contender. The negative stigma that I feel comes with the cannabis culture comes mostly from marketing. We are so used to the leaf, Bob Marley along with Cheech and Chong and I have never been drawn to that style of life. Tru Med brings a touch of class when it comes to dispensaries. I have been to Dispensaries in CA, WA, CO, and here and this one holds its own against some pretty stiff competition. I liked the selection but thought the prices were a little high and that would be the only thing that prevents me from going there on a regular basis. I have several choices and once I weed out the good places from the bad (as far as their quality) then it really becomes a buyers market for me when it comes to price. I would recommend this place to others who aren't comfortable with this culture as they do a great job of both making you comfortable and educated which is important.

This particular dispensary really sets the standard for others to follow. The ambiance, the staff and of course the products are amazing. My first experience in dispensaries was in California and for the most part, they were not inviting atmospheres which is something I am not fond of. This place is exactly what the industry needs to give it credibility/respectability. From the waiting room to the "store", attention to detail is seen everywhere. Modern finishes and decor along with the frosted glass wall; it's evident that there is a lot of pride in ownership here. The staff are very kind and helpful whereas in some places you will feel rushed which isn't good if you have questions. They have a nice new patient deal where you get a free pre roll or 1g of flower, not to mention they give you a few other niceties and of course there is the reward program. Although that wouldn't be a reason for me to be a patron anywhere, it is especially nice that this program exists at a place I would actually like to frequent. The location is also great as it is in a nice area not too far from my residence.
