The Batch from High Park

The Batch is a line of pocket-friendly flower new to Alberta, touted as “Quality cannabis that doesn’t cost a fortune.” Categorized by potency rather than cultivar, this blended whole flower contains between 10-16% THC. You can try The Batch in a variety of forms, from affordable quarter and half-quarter ($26.99!) packages to solo prerolls or a package of five ($24.95!).

August 2019

48 North

48 North shipped its first order of dried flower to Alberta this month. The Ontario-grown cannabis brand debuted with the launch of its Granddaddy Purple pre-rolls boasting notes of grape and berry thanks to a terpenes like beta-caryophyllene, beta-pinene, and alpha-pinene.
More strains, including Green Crush, Power Plant, and Kosher Kush are expected on store shelves soon.

Joining a family of strains that also includes Zen Berry, Lemon Riot, and Daydream, the latest offering from this Alberta-grown brand of cannabis is this zesty mid-powered strain that boasts a high concentration of limonene and distinctive notes of fresh Florida oranges.

Hexo

This Quebec-grown cannabis brand launched its line of Elixir oral sprays and dried flower products in the prarie province in late July.

Nine varieties of dried flower including Bayou, Sierra, Terra, Helios, Horizon, Lagoon, Tsunami, Atlantis, and Nebula strains, are now available through Alberta Cannabis and private retailers across the province.
