Strain Overview: Critical Mass is an indica-dominant cross between Skunk #1 and Afghani produced by Mr. Nice Seed Bank. A rework of the original Big Bud strain, Critical Mass is well-known for its ability to produce large yields of quality cannabis. Critical Mass is sweet and earthy in aroma, and provides a euphoric, dreamy high that easily tapers into sleepiness.

Grow Techniques: To avoid mold issues, keep this strain indoors unless you live in a very dry climate. Grow hydroponically and use the SOG (sea of green) method to keep your garden space full and promote large yields. Prune the lower canopy to increase airflow and keep humidity levels down.

Flowering Time: 6 to 8 weeks

Yield: High

Grow Difficulty: Moderate

Climate: Keep humidity levels low (35% RH) while flowering to combat mold. This strain prefers temperatures between 68 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Indoor/Outdoor: Critical Mass will grow to its full potential indoors. Outdoors, the buds may mold after heavy rainfall.

Feeding: If growing hydroponically, keep the plant’s immune system strong with an immune boosting liquid nutrient. Use compost tea and worm castings if growing in soil to keep the plants healthy. A strong immune system will help prevent mold.
