Originating in Indiana during the 1970s, Bubblegum is an indica-dominant hybrid with an almost 80/20 split between indica and sativa. This strain was created by crossing Indiana Bubblegum with an unidentified indica cannabis strain and was later brought to Amsterdam for further cloning and hybridization. After several years, breeders finally achieved a stable Bubblegum strain with a distinct sweet odor and euphoric high. Its name comes from its smell, which closely resembles pink bubblegum.
